Painless lump under left rib cage
The sensation could be either on the right side, caused by an enlarged liver, or the left side, caused by an enlarged spleen in response to the liver cancer. I have the same lumpy, bumpy things, but mine certainly aren't small. They're like rolls. Dr says it's fat and nothing to worry about, but they keep growing. I noticed them under the left rib area like 3 years ago and since then, they've grown huge - and continue to grow. I'm worried, but the Dr sure isn't.When I eat a large meal I can feel more pressure under my rib cage on the left side. I went to a GI doctor 2 years ago for abdominal pain. They tested for H pylori, blood tests, checked my gallbladder, CT scan of my abdomen and even did an endoscopy. Everything came back normal and the GI doctor was out of ideas.
